Dr. Elizabeth Kergosien is a board-certified veterinary oncologist. She and her technician, Jennifer West, provide services limited to the diagnosis and medical management of cancer in dogs and cats. Client education concerning the pet’s illness is one of Dr. Kergosien’s strengths. She enjoys sitting down with clients to make sure they have a good understanding of the disease process and all of the diagnostic and therapeutic options including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation therapy in order to help the client make the best decision for his or her pet. She will work with the veterinarian, client, and patient to help determine the best plan for each individual, and then follow through with communication, help and support during and after the treatment process. Dr. Kergosien receives cases on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at LVRC. The oncology voicemail box is checked 7 days a week in order to insure that clients and referring veterinarians can always get their emergency questions answered.
